🔍 Final Selection Criteria Explained
🧾 Post Code No. 21 (Police Constable – Civil | Men & Women)
- Selection based solely on merit in the Final Written Examination (200 marks)
- Only candidates qualified in PET are considered
- Follows local and non-local reservation rules under:
- AP Public Employment Order, 1975
- G.O. Ms. No. 763, GA (SPF.A) Dept., dated 15-11-1975
Reservation Rules:
- 20% posts: Open for locals & non-locals
- 80% posts: Reserved for local candidates only
🧾 Post Code No. 23 (Police Constable – APSP | Men Only)
- Final selection based on 200 marks (100 PET + 100 Written Exam)
- No local reservation applicable
- Selection purely on total merit
Governing Rule: AP Public Employment Order, 1975 (Local reservation not applicable)
🧠 Tie-Breaker Rule
If two or more candidates score the same total marks, preference is given to the older candidate.
