The Andhra Pradesh Police Constable Final Results 2025 have been officially declared today, August 1, by the State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB). This is the final selection list, following completion of Preliminary Written Test, PMT/PET, and Final Written Examination.

🔍 Final Selection Criteria Explained

The selection process differs slightly for Post Code No. 21 and Post Code No. 23, as outlined below:

🧾 Post Code No. 21 (Police Constable – Civil | Men & Women)

• Final Selection is based solely on merit in the Final Written Examination (200 marks).
• Only candidates who qualified the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) are eligible.
• Selection follows rules under:
  • Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (Organization of Local Cadres and Regulation of Direct Recruitment) Order, 1975
  • G.O. Ms. No. 763, GA (SPF.A) Dept., dated 15-11-1975 (as amended)

🔄 Local & Non-Local Reservation (As per G.O. Ms. No. 8, GA Dept., dated 08-01-2002):

• First 20% of posts filled through combined merit list (locals + non-locals)
• Remaining 80% filled exclusively from local candidates

🧾 Post Code No. 23 (Police Constable – APSP | Men Only)

• Final selection is based on total 200 marks:
  • 100 marks from Final Written Exam
  • 100 marks from Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Selection is based strictly on total merit score
• Local reservation does not apply for this post
• Governed by:
  • AP Public Employment Order, 1975 (local reservation not applicable)

🧠 Tie-Breaker Rule (In Case of Equal Marks)

If two or more candidates obtain the same total score in a particular category:

• Preference is given to the candidate who is older in age

• Candidates will receive official appointment letters in due course
• SLPRB will release a schedule for joining formalities
• Medical checks and police training will be organized shortly
